As you all have noticed, we have a totally new website layout and system.

What's new?

Login System now implemented (always LOGOFF once you're done).
New Registration System - All new accounts need e-mail verification (goodbye to fake e-mails!).
Secret Code removed - less hassle now as you only need the e-mail access to recover your account.
Old accounts and new accounts were tagged as G1 (Generation 1) and G2 (Generation 2) respectively.

What's the difference between G1 and G2 accounts?

Account Type G1 - all old accounts are tagged as G1 (Generation 1):
Password reset: NO
E-mail Change: NO
Password Change: YES
Secret Code change: YES - requires secret code and e-mail (the address only no need to access the e-mail).
Show Password (aka Password Retrieval): YES - requires secret code and e-mail (the address only no need to access the e-mail).

SUMMARY: for G1 accounts, aside from the user ID, two things you need to remember - secret code and e-mail (the address only no need to access the e-mail) to recover your account.

Account Type G2 - all new accounts are tagged as G2 (Generation 2):

Password Reset: YES (password reset code will be sent to the e-mail linked to the account)
E-mail Change: YES (verification code will be sent to the new email to be verified and accepted by the system)
Password Change: YES
Secret Code Change: NOT APPLICABLE (G2 accounts don't have secret code)
Show Password : NO

SUMMARY: For G2 accounts, aside from the user ID, only the access to the e-mail address is required to recover your account.

Protect yourself from keyloggers!

Keyloggers are serious threats esp for people who have internet shop or cafes as their only means of going online.

What is a keylogger?
It's a spy software that records your keyboard strokes and thereby capturing everything it can in the process then save the information for retrieval by the person who installed it. The information gathered will then be used to get further information for profit or simply to invade the victim's privacy for pleasure.

Stealing private information such as email and game accounts are but a few target of keyloggers. Most common victims are the less vigilant users esp the kids that go and play in the internet shop or cafes. Sadly, operators or managers of these internet shop or cafes do not pay much attention to this menace or simply do not have the technical know how to get rid of the problem and protect their customers.

Most antivirus can not detect nor remove keyloggers, best thing to do is install anti-keylogger or anti-spyware software into your system to detect, remove and protect yourself from this threat and its variants from ever pestering you again.
